The EVT50C-BMC is a black powder coat light-duty 2-inch truss clamp for standard 48mm to 51mm (2-inch) OD truss, tube, and pipe — a wing nut collar clamp rated at max shear load 30 kg with 4.9 kN tensile strength for lightweight lighting fixtures, small accessories, and cable management hardware in installations where the clamp color needs to match a dark overhead structure. The M10 x 30mm bolt with spring lock washer connects to standard M10 fixture yokes and mounting brackets. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy, finished in black powder coat, and TUV Nord Certified.

Function and Compatibility:

The EVT50C-BMC clamps to any 48mm to 51mm OD round tube or pipe through a wing nut collar assembly. The collar opens counterclockwise, seats onto the tube, closes, and locks with the wing nut tightened clockwise. The included M10 x 30mm bolt with spring lock washer threads into any standard M10 fixture yoke or accessory bracket, with the spring lock washer maintaining bolt tension under vibration and thermal cycling. The black powder coat finish absorbs light under stage, UV, and overhead lighting conditions, keeping the clamp integrated with dark truss systems and overhead structures where silver hardware would create visible contrast. Compatible with EVT290S, EVT290I, F34 series truss main chords, and standard Schedule 40 aluminum pipe in the 48mm to 51mm outer diameter range.

Assembly Instructions

1. Release the wing nut by turning it counterclockwise to release the bolt and open the collar.
2. Place the EVT50C-BMC on the truss, tube, or pipe and close the collar.
3. Put the bolt back in place with the washer and wing nut above the collar.
4. Make sure the EVT50C-BMC is located in its proper place on the truss, tube, or pipe before tightening the wing nut.
5. Turn the wing nut clockwise to tighten and secure the EVT50C-BMC into place.
