The EVT290A-REP is a decorative aluminum dome end cap that finishes an exposed compatible 290 mm truss chord receiver. Its rounded dome and integrated male conical stem replace an open receiver with a smooth termination. It is non-structural: do not use it to lift, support, suspend, anchor, or attach any load.

Product Overview

Finish an Exposed Receiver with a Smooth Aluminum Dome.

The REP provides a rounded end treatment for visible compatible truss chord receivers. Its removable male conical stem installs without drilling, welding, or permanently altering the truss. It covers the open receiver and can be removed whenever the receiver is needed for another compatible component.

The REP is designed for compatible EVT290S and 290 mm square truss receivers with matching conical connector details. Confirm connector diameter and taper, receiver depth, pin diameter, pin-hole alignment, and chord clearance before combining components.

Installation

Seat the Dome, Install the Pin, and Secure the R-Clip.

01 — Inspect Components
Inspect the cap, stem, included pin, included r-clip, and compatible receiver.
02 — Clean Receiver
Remove loose dirt and debris from the receiver.
03 — Insert Stem
Insert the male conical stem completely into the compatible receiver.
04 — Secure Hardware
Align holes, install the included pin completely, and secure it with the included r-clip.

A Decorative End Cap Is Not a Load Attachment Point.

The REP is a decorative, non-structural accessory. It must not be used to lift, support, suspend, anchor, tie off, rig, or attach any load.

Do not attach fixtures, signs, speakers, cables, safety devices, or other loads to the end cap.
Do not use the cap as a lifting handle or tie-off point.
Do not drill, weld, grind, bend, or otherwise modify the cap or connector stem.
Do not install if its stem, pin hole, pin, or r-clip is damaged or excessively worn.
