The collar opens, seats onto the tube, and closes before the M8 nylon-insert locknut is tightened clockwise to clamp the collar securely. Assembly Instructions

4. Make sure the EVT40C-BLC is located in its proper place on the truss, tube, or pipe before tightening the nylon-insert locknut.
5. Turn the nylon-insert locknut clockwise to tighten and secure the EVT40C-BLC into place.
