Function and Compatibility:
The EVT50C-ACP clamps to any 48mm to 51mm OD round tube or pipe through a wing nut collar assembly — the same opening, seating, and tightening sequence as a standard clamp, with the welded post extending downward from the clamp body once secured. The 1-inch (25mm) OD post is welded directly to the clamp body at the factory, providing a fixed 18-inch vertical drop from the truss chord to the bottom of the post. The post accepts standard 1-inch pipe-and-drape sleeves, spigot fittings, and other display hardware designed for 1-inch diameter pipe. At 3.0 lbs, the combined clamp-and-post assembly is substantial — account for the weight of the EVT50C-ACP itself when calculating total hardware load at each truss chord position. Assembly Instructions
- Release the wing nut by turning it counterclockwise to release the bolt and open the collar.
- Place the EVT50C-ACP on the truss, tube, or pipe and close the collar.
- Put the bolt back in place with the washer and wing nut above the collar.
- Make sure the EVT50C-ACP is located in its proper place on the truss, tube, or pipe before tightening the wing nut.
- Turn the wing nut clockwise to tighten and secure the EVT50C-ACP into place.
