System Requirements
System Compatibility
EVT220S, F24, and Standard 220 mm Square Truss Systems.
The EVT220S-Altura uses a standard 220 mm square display truss profile and a matching conical connection system. It is compatible with EVT220S, F24, and standard 220 mm square truss systems that use matching coupler and receiver dimensions.
Assembly Overview
Build the Crown First. Then Add the Vertical Supports.
The system is typically assembled by three to four people using a small steel hammer for the tapered-pin conical connections.
Published Load and Stability Reference
Loading and Ballast Must Match the Final Configuration.
Safety and Engineering
Exhibit Loads, Ballast, and Overhead Elements Must Be Evaluated as One System.
Final capacity depends on the booth configuration, attached signs, lighting, graphics, monitors, rigging points, ballast, floor conditions, and venue requirements.
System Questions
Frequently Asked Questions
What does assembly take?
Assembly takes a crew of three to four people and a small steel hammer, which is used to seat and remove the tapered pins in the conical connection system. The crown is built first at floor level, then raised and fitted with the vertical supports.
Can the booth be built in other configurations?
No. The EVT220S-Altura is designed to assemble in one specified 10x10 booth configuration. The included kit does not convert into an inline, island, or L-shaped booth, and larger or different booths need separately selected EVT220S components and a new engineered design.
What clamps fit this truss?
Use 35 mm clamps only. Standard 50 mm clamps will not fit the EVT220S main chords.
How much ballast does a rear scrim or banner need?
A rear scrim or banner creates a sail effect, so use 800 lb of ballast at each corner or direct engineered anchorage to a concrete slab. A licensed professional engineer must review the completed configuration, loads, and anchorage before use.
