The EVT50C-BEHSC is an extra heavy-duty dual aluminum truss clamp that connects two 2-inch (50mm) OD tubes at any angle — a two-collar rigging component rated at max shear load 3,990 kg with 39,908 kN tensile strength for structural tube-to-tube connections in overhead rigging, truss-to-pipe bridging, and any application where two round structural members need to be joined. The swivel joint between the two collars rotates a full 360 degrees for connections at any angle, or locks at 90 degrees with a dedicated locking pin for fixed right-angle connections that need to resist rotation under load. Built from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy with S45C carbon steel hardware and TUV Nord Certified — this is not a fixture-mounting clamp, it is a structural joining component designed for the loads that come with connecting two tube runs.
Function and Compatibility:
The EVT50C-BEHSC uses two independent collars — each collar clamps to its own 50mm OD tube using the wing nut closure, and the swivel joint between them allows the angle between the two tubes to be set before tightening. For connections at a fixed 90-degree angle, the locking pin engages to prevent the swivel from rotating under load, converting the joint from a rotatable connection to a rigid right-angle clamp. For connections at any other angle, the swivel is left without the pin and the wing nuts on both collars are tightened to hold the tubes at the desired position. Both collars use the same wing nut closure as standard single clamps — release counterclockwise, seat onto the tube, tighten clockwise. Compatible with any 48mm to 51mm OD round tube or pipe including EVT290S, EVT290I, F34 series truss main chords, and standard Schedule 40 aluminum pipe.

Assembly Instructions
- Release the wing nut by turning it counterclockwise to release the bolt and open the collar on the first tube position.
- Place the first collar of the EVT50C-BEHSC on the truss, tube, or pipe and close the collar.
- Put the bolt back in place with the washer and wing nut above the collar.
- Make sure the first collar is set in its proper place on the tube before tightening the wing nut.
- Turn the wing nut clockwise to tighten and secure the first collar. Repeat steps 1 through 4 for the second collar on the second tube.
- If a fixed 90-degree angle is required, engage the locking pin before tightening the second collar. For any other angle, set the desired position and tighten both collars to hold.
