Function and Compatibility:
The EVT50C-EHSC mounts to any 48mm to 51mm OD round tube or pipe through a single wing nut collar assembly. Once the collar is clamped to the tube, the swivel body can be rotated to any angle and held in position by tightening the accessory or fixture attachment hardware. For applications that require the swivel joint to stay fixed at exactly 90 degrees under load — bracket arms, cross-beam supports, pipe stanchions — the locking pin engages to prevent rotation before the assembly is loaded. Without the locking pin, the joint is free to rotate through its full range, allowing fixtures and accessories to be aimed or repositioned without releasing the collar from the tube. Assembly Instructions
- Release the wing nut by turning it counterclockwise to release the bolt and open the collar.
- Place the EVT50C-EHSC on the truss, tube, or pipe and close the collar.
- Put the bolt back in place with the washer and wing nut above the collar.
- Make sure the EVT50C-EHSC is set in its proper place on the tube before tightening the wing nut.
- Turn the wing nut clockwise to tighten and secure the EVT50C-EHSC into place. If a fixed 90-degree angle is required, engage the locking pin before loading the joint.
